Ford Model T

Touring Car

Introduced in 1908, the five-passenger Touring Car was the first of more than 15,000,000 Model T's produced. It was designed to give the average wage earner sound, inexpensive transportation. A replacement valve cost about 15 cents, while a new engine block sold for about $20. The model was produced for 19 years, and Ford made replacement parts for 50 years after production stopped.
