International Baby Lift

A Korean girl arrives at Portland, Oregon, in April 1960. The child was one of a group of 84 en route to foster homes in 23 U.S. states. The "baby lift" was sponsored by Harry Holt of Oregon, who had arranged for more than 1,750 Korean children orphaned by the Korean War to be transported to the United States.
