Staubbach Falls
The second highest waterfall in Switzerland, Staubbach drops almost 1,000 feet from a hanging valley. It is fed by a small river of the same name, which itself is fed by melting snow and glaciers.
William Tell
William Tell
was the hero of the Swiss movement for independence from the Austrian Habsburgs in the 13th century. He is best known for shooting an apple off his son's head with a crossbow arrow, and is the National Hero of Switzerland (despite there being no historical evidence of his existence).
