Located near Lucerne, Mount Pilatus is composed of several summits, the highest of which are Tomlishorn (6,982 feet) and Esel (6,952 feet). Its top can be reached via aerial panorama gondola and by the world's steepest cogwheel railway.
Staubbach Falls
Staubbach Falls
The second highest waterfall in Switzerland, Staubbach drops almost 1,000 feet from a hanging valley. It is fed by a small river of the same name, which itself is fed by melting snow and glaciers.
