Record-Setting Dominoes

Bob Speca, Jr., spent 95 hours arranging 100,000 dominoes into an intricate array on the ballroom floor of the Manhattan Center in New York, New York. On June 10 he tipped the first domino to set off a chain reaction that lasted 17 minutes and ended with a world record of 97,500 dominoes being toppled. Unfortunately for Speca, his goal of having all 100,000 dominoes fall according to his design was foiled when a presscard fell out of acameraman's pocket and knocked down 2,500 of them prematurely.
